Preparations

Domain name
I had to come up with a domain that worked with the content. My first choice howtobuildyourlist.com and how-to-build-your-list.com was both taken, although not worked much on, atleast not at the time.

I emailed both owners, one replied.
Now why did I do that? Unsure..

Maybe I wanted them to offer to cooperate with me?

This is of course a result of bad communication.
Other people are not mindreaders.
If you want something to happen you have to take action.
In this scenario "asking" would have been a good option.

Anyway, I am not unhappy with my choice: how-to-create-your-list.com although the word "build" is more used and searched for in searchengines.

Hosting
I had to find a webhost that would cover my needs.
Just when I thought I had decided, I found a better option.

Not only do ThirdSphere offer a lot of features, they explain how to use them. With 2 different online sitebuilders and the option of using Frontpage, Dreamveawer etc.. I should be covered.

Sponsorshopping
A sponsor is someone you can ask questions, someone you trust to recommend good, useful deals, programs etc. Sponsors usually earn something because of you, and it doesn't have to be money.

You should know who your sponsor is in every thing you do.

If you find a service or similar that you want, look for a sponsor.
This could be the person first introducing it to you.
It should be someone you can communicate with.

This is what I call sponsorshopping.

I was looking for a person to help me.
I have limited experience with websitebuilding.
I rather have someone tell me what is safe, and how to use it properly, than try to figure it out on my own.
I have more than enough of other things to do.

Who would have thought that a webhosting could be a sponsor?

Read, read, read and the read some more.
I have received a number of ebooks from ThirdSphere, but reading the information available in the controlpanel has kept me too busy.
