If you are serious about making money online you absolutely, without a doubt, have to have your own domain.

If you think it's too expencive you need to rethink.
Here's a few comments that might help you.

A domain does not have to cost an arm and a leg.
Domains are what I would call cheap.

It depends on what kind of topdomain you have (.com .net .org .biz .yourcountry .info .etc..) and where you buy your domain.

They offer hosting as low as $2.00 per month which is perfect if you are just starting out and have no idea. Starting with hosting for $30.00 per month when you don't really need it is not a good idea.

Remember that you don't have to buy domain and hosting at the same place.

When you buy a domain I suggest you do 2 years.
Some say that it affects your search engine ranking.

1 or 2 years at a time means nothing to you if you're serious about your business, so in case it is true: Why not.. :)

If you are Canadian or from the US you can get domains for $5.99, but it seems you only can get it for 1 year at a time, at 1and1.com
